Expedia.com is a travel booking portal owned by Expedia Group where users can book airline tickets, make hotel reservations, book car rentals, cruises and vacation packages. Expedia.com is part of the Expedia Group that owns and operates over 200 travel brands including amongst other Hotels.com, Travelocity, Orbitz, Hotwire, Trivago, CheapTickets and eBookers. Expedia Groups market share in 2018 accounted for 11.2 Billion USD.

Project description

Eyepax has serviced Expedia since 2008 and currently runs multiple agile offshore development teams consisting of 8-12 persons per team. Each team provides a variety of development and QA services for Expedia worldwide.

For the European entities Expedia contracts Eyepax to develop SEO friendly web sites, that integrate with their proprietary booking technology. The main objective is to create a vast net of multiple web sites through different domains improving visibility, reach and SEO value, collectively yielding increased organic traffic.
