We are looking for an experienced and passionate Technical Lead (PHP) with a proven track record in leading teams and delivering high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the architecture, design, and development of scalable web applications, ensuring best practices in coding standards, performance optimization, and security. You will mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement while ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant industry experience with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Expertise in PHP, MySQL and JavaScript.
- Strong experience in custom application architecture and development in PHP.
- Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and modular code development.
- Experience building user interfaces from HTML/CSS prototypes and integrating dynamic backend functionality.
- Strong experience in web performance optimization, caching strategies, and Google PageSpeed optimization.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL databases and query optimization.
- Understanding of Google Analytics for tracking and analyzing website/application performance.
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles.
- Strong understanding of web security best practices (OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices).
- Experience in team handling, mentoring, and guiding developers to ensure high-quality software design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in assessing team members’ skills and providing necessary training and support.
