Manager - QA

Qualifications & Experience 

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent professional qualification
• 10+ years QA experience with good skill in Test case automation, Functional, UI, Web services and Performance testing capabilities
• 4+ years of experience in a QA leadership position
• Experience in QA process audits and work product reviews based on the engagement’s documented audit plan/schedule 
• Experience in leading and working with distributed teams of QA professionals including offshore teams 
• Experience working with automation frameworks and automating functional test cases using Selenium Web driver (JAVA) and Rest assured
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
• Expertise in Performing the primary QA functions and ensure that all products are delivered with optimal quality
• Experience in using JIRA, Scrum Process and Test Management tools would be advantageous
• A solid practical understanding of Agile Software Quality Assurance and Software Engineering concepts
• Experience in managing and overseeing the production of test plans written by Manual and Automated Test Engineers and reviewing the results
• Good understanding in Design, implement and maintain test procedures, including test cases, as necessary for each release and for regression testing
• An ability to estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Knowledge in Object Oriented Concepts and programming languages such as Java
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on the application and its environment
• Experience with performance testing using JMeter would be an added advantage
• Experience in security testing and security testing tools will be a benefit
• Proven experience in CI/CD / Agile / DevOps methodologies 
• Comprehensive knowledge of the testing of Applications, API interfaces and hardware
