We’re looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team and deliver innovative eCommerce solutions across B2B and B2C platforms. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing Shopify storefronts, integrating third-party applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet our business objectives. Experience and Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage B2B and B2C eCommerce solutions on the Shopify platform.
- Develop and maintain Shopify storefronts, including custom theme development and Shopify app integration.
- Customize and extend Shopify capabilities using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate third-party applications and services using Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL).
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Follow best practices in coding, performance optimization, and security.
- Optimize site speed and ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
- Manage version control, CI/CD, and documentation using tools like Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Shopify platform and integrations.
Skills and Personal Characteristics:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience with Shopify, including both front-end and back-end development.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing B2B and B2C Shopify stores.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL) and Shopify’s Liquid templating language.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with responsive web design and interactive web development.
- Experience with Shopify’s Online Store 2.0 and Shopify App Store.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of secure development practices and performance optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions is a plus.
- Knowledge of open-source packages/libraries is advantageous.
